
Surfshark VPN
Having mulled over the idea for quite some time, yesterday I subscribed to Surfshark VPN. For those who don't know, a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a piece of software that allows you to 'virtually' connect to servers in other countries. This has many benefits but for me it means that I can 'virtually' connect to a French server and watch French TV programmes that are blocked if I try to connect from here in the UK.
Today I tried it out by watching an episode of Thalassa on France 3. This is a channel that presents very interesting documentaries with nautical themes. I watched one on lighthouses that concentrated on the famous Ar Men lighthouse off Brittany.
