Here Nathalie Porte on her site Nathalie FLE offers very sound advice for improving your French. After years of trying different things I can honestly say that the advice offered here is what I ultimately distilled out after experimenting with many different approaches.

On rêve tous de la baguette magique mais elle n’existe pas ! Apprendre une langue étrangère prend du temps et demande des efforts. Mais n’oubliez pas qu’il y a la bonne nouvelle :
“Tout le monde est capable d’apprendre une langue étrangère !”
