Less postings of late
You will have noticed a dropping off of posts on this page. There are a number of reasons for this, including some personal distractions, but it is also the case that my French at 60 Facebook page has become the place where I post most of the day to day French snippets.

If you do not follow the Facebook page I would urge you to do so. You will find a mix of French media ranging from cartoons to more serious articles, although the bias is definitely towards the amusing and educational.

A bit of techie stuff first. I have for a while been trying to move the search facility to a toggled feature at the top of each page. With some technical assistance I have now achieved this. Go to the magnifying glass symbol to reveal the search input box.

Secondly a bit of fun. I've added some winter snow to this Bonjour page.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an accepted reference for evaluating a speaker's ability using 'can-do' descriptors. These descriptors are a bit formal but if you expand this post you will find a table that takes a much lighter approach.
